Day 01. Thru October 31, 2008: Arrive at the KrugerMpumalangaInternationalAirport, own arrangements. On arrival you will you will be met by your guide in an air-conditioned VW Microbus. It will take you 30 minutes to reach Numbi Gate where you will enter the KrugerNational Park. This is where your adventure begins. Immediately on entering the Park your game viewing begins. Kruger is in excess of 20 000 sq kilometres (7 400 sq miles) is home to over 493 species of birds, 147 species of mammals, 114 species of reptiles, 49 species of fish and 33 species of amphibians. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route to your overnight camp, this will be at one of the many picnic sites situated in the park. The rest of the afternoon will be spend game viewing on the way to Lower Sabie Rest camp which is situated on the backs of the Sabi River, one of 5 perennial rivers that flow through the Park, the life-line to all types of animals.
