Day 05:

An early wake up call so that you are at the dive shop at day break to kit up before being transferred to the river mouth where you launch the “rubber duck” for Aliwal Shoal. Diving Aliwal is pure adrenalin and the surf launch is shore to take your breath away!! All diving in South Africa is best done as early in the morning as possible. Firstly the "Raggies" are usually  found in vast numbers on the reef first thing in the morning, but as the day wears on and the reefs are visited by more and more divers the "Raggies" often get disturbed and tend to move off for some peace and quiet, so the earlier you are able to get to the reef the better, if you want to see “Raggies”. Also, in the mornings the sea is “flat calm”, ideal diving conditions! As the morning wears on the winds tend to pick up causing a chop on the water which makes for unpleasant diving and it also makes it difficult for the skipper of the “duck” to spot you when you surface. Not ideal diving conditions. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Seaforever Guest House on a bed and breakfast basis. www.seaforever.com

Day 06:

Another early morning. Today you spend it in the company of the Tiger Sharks. An early breakfast to be on the beach by 09h00 to kit up and for the briefing. We launch the boat at about 10h00 for 5 hours at sea diving with the Tiger's of Africa", weather permitting, without the protection of a cage!! This is shark diving at it's ultimate best and the experience will be indelibly imprinted in your memory forever. Depending on shark activity and weather conditions we will return to shore at about 14h00. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Seaforever on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 07:

Another day spent Tiger Shark diving, weather permitting. After a quick shower at Seaforever you will be collected from Seaforever by a representative of Dive The Big 5 for the return transfer to Durban where you will "de-gass" before the next days flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Durban you will have ample time to settle into your hotel before hitting Durban’s famous "Golden Mile" with miles and miles of golden beaches, restaurants and clubs. Overnight at The City Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. www.citylodge.co.za and click on the Durban City Lodge.

Day 08:
